What is the PTA?

PTA stands for Parent Teacher Association!

 

We are a group of dedicated parents and educators on a mission to improve the lives and education of all of the students at Pittsboro Elementary. We mirror the National PTA in an effort to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.

​

The goal of our PTA is to create an active partnership of parents, educators, and the local community in order to support the needs of our school and foster the success of our students.

We work to accomplish this goal through volunteering, special programs, fundraising, and more, and are always looking for new members to work with us to achieve these goals.

 

You do not have to be a member of the PTA to participate in the events we offer! If you care about the students of Pittsboro Elementary and want to see the school remain a thriving part of our local community, you are welcome to join any and all of our events!
